Craft for a Cause:
Canvas Tote Bag Painting
Canvas Tote Bag Painting
Paint with Purpose. Support Recovery. Create Community.
Take a break from the noise and join us for a creative, calming day of canvas tote bag painting—no experience needed, just a willingness to show up as you are.
This one-day, donation-based event is designed to nurture creativity, offer community connection, and raise funds for a cause that matters deeply. Whether you’re navigating mental health challenges yourself, supporting a loved one, or simply looking to do something meaningful (and fun!), this event was made with you in mind.

Why We’re Doing This?

This event directly supports our Nutrition Services Community Fund—created to help clients struggling financially or with inadequate healthcare coverage access life-changing nutrition support.
Eating disorder treatment, mental health care, and body image healing shouldn’t be a luxury. Yet many people face financial barriers to receiving care. This event is one small way we’re working to change that—and you can be part of the movement.

Got Questions?
We’ve Got You.
What should I wear?
Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy. You’re welcome to bring an apron if you like, but no need to be fancy.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourself! All supplies are provided and included in the cost.
Do I need any art experience?
Absolutely not. This space is for beginners, creatives, and recovering perfectionists alike. The goal is expression, not precision. Come as you are—we mean it.

Who This Event Is For?
People in eating disorder recovery or mental health treatment. Supporters, friends, family members, folxs dealing with anxiety, burnout, depression, or body image concerns. Anyone who needs a creative outlet or a meaningful way to give back. You don’t have to be an artist, you just have to be a human.
Any there any "rules" for the day?
To help make this a safe, supportive space for everyone, we ask that you honor the following:
-
No diet talk: Let’s keep conversations free from discussions about dieting, weight loss, or “being good/bad” with food.
-
No body comments: Please avoid commenting on your own or anyone else’s body...positive or negative.
-
All food is good food: We believe in a weight-inclusive, non-diet approach. That means no moralizing food or making negative remarks about what you or others are eating.
This is a space where all bodies and all experiences are welcome. Thank you for helping us keep it kind, respectful, and grounded in care.
