Kait Vanderlaan is a Therapist and Yoga Teacher who specializes in working with teens and adults with eating disorders, suicidality, and grief. Kait values the mind body connection and the ways it impacts a person’s overall wellbeing. She provides LGBTQ+ affirming care and practices from a HAES and weight inclusive lens. Kait aims to help individuals build a healthy relationship with both their mind and their body.
Kiera is a licensed clinical social worker, and has over 7 years experience working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a variety of concerns including eating disorders, depression, anxiety, neurodivergence, self-esteem, body image and trauma. She is HAES-aligned and has a creative and collaborative approach in therapy.
Sheranda is Beyond's virtual Administrative Assistant who keeps the day-to-day running smoothly! While not holding down the fort at Beyond, Sheranda enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

worth and inherent ability to heal.
Maya is a black lab and an Air Dog® Certified Therapy Dog. Maya loves humans especially if you have treats. She believes that dogs and humans of all sizes deserve love, acceptance, cuddles, and delicious snacks!

While food is nourishment, she also believes in the power of food as a connection to family or culture, food as comfort, and food as an expression of creativity. She believes that diet culture prevents people from experiencing their most fulfilling lives, and she works alongside people as they work to break free from this distraction.
