Mia is a weight inclusive, trauma-informed, Health At Every Size® (HAES) aligned registered dietitian. She aims to support and empower individuals in reconnecting to food and their bodies. She believes in using a compassionate approach to guide individuals toward creating a space where freedom and inner peace are centered in their everyday lives.

Mia attended Montclair State University where she earned her undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Food Science with a concentration in Dietetics. She completed her dietetic internship at Cedar Crest College with a focus in community nutrition. She began her dietetics career in New Brunswick, NJ as a community-focused dietitian at a non-profit prior to entering the private practice space. As a dietitian who has worked with a diverse, socio-economically challenged community, Mia prioritizes social justice advocacy and equitable access to all healthcare needs. She acknowledges the nuances that come with health and nutrition, as every individual has unique identities and backgrounds. With prior experience working with food insecure Latino families, Mia focuses on centering one’s lived experience in order to meet individuals where they are and provide non-stigmatizing, compassionate care.

Mia’s never-ending curiosity and willingness to continue learning allow her to collaborate with individuals so that they can meet their goals and truly heal from trauma around food and body image issues.
